Habit 2 - Beginning with the End in Mind
We began discussing a new habit this week. Beginning with the end in mind simply means setting a goal for yourself and creating a plan to accomplish your goal. We are creating a class mission statement this week and the class will each make a goal for themselves beginning next week. I will discuss with each student how they plan to accomplish their goal and brainstorm ways to do this. (ex. "learn alphabet sounds by practicing at school each day and at home with my alphabet chart.") The class seems to really enjoy the beginning of our day when we have a class meeting to discuss the habit and ways to practice the habit in our every day lives.
