Reading: Letter recognition, practicing Read to Self (the class is doing a wonderful job of reading independly - they have alphabet charts in their book tubs, easy reader books and a nursery rhyme book they are familiar with to practice retelling).
Math: Students are learning what attributes are using buttons and attribute blocks. They will be playing games such as "Button Match Up" and "Attribute Block Match Up" They will also practice the correct way to form and represent the number four.
Writing: Continuing writing a narrative, experimenting with labeling the picture with sounds the student hears in the word.
