FREE FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT
Come and Join us Friday, November 21, from 6:30-8:30 for a fun FREE movie and popcorn night. We will be watching Maleficent. All you need to bring is your PJ's, chairs, pillows, and blankets. Soda and candy bars can be purchased for $1 each. Hope to see you all there!
LITTLE BIRD TALES
On Friday, Brooklin will take the iPad home to complete the project.
DRA
I began giving the DRA (developmental reading assessment) last week, and will finish up this week. This is the assessment that I use to know what reading level each student is on. After I complete this assessment, I will send information home explaining what skills you can work on with your child at home when reading and what level they are at. They will be placed in guided reading groups based on the level they are on. We will begin guided reading groups after Thanksgiving break.
FOOD DRIVE
Our class is in charge of bringing hamburger/chicken hamburger helper for our school wide food drive. The class that brings in the most items will have their choice of an extra specials class (PE, Art, Library, Computers). The food drive will end on November 21st.
